Justin Bieber Admits He’s ‘In Love’ — Meet The Girl Who Makes Him ‘Smile’
The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here — Justin Bieber has just admitted in a new interview that he’s in LOVE and he tells us her name!
Who is the lucky lady that won Justin Bieber‘s heart? Get ready because not only does he talk all about her but he finally reveals who she is and you won’t believe it. She’s beautiful and cuddly and we think he’s lucky to have her.
While promoting his new single, “What Do You Mean,” Justin spoke with Elvis Duran of Z100 and he admitted that he’s in love! “Yes, I am in love … Her name is Esther, she’s my little puppy!” he said. “She’s adorable. She’s a silky terrier. She makes me smile.” Aw, this is so adorable, we just love that he said this. But we were hoping he was going to say Selena Gomez. Justin also said that he is really trying to turn his life around from his bad boy image: “I just want to be around people who I feel are supporting me, uplifting me, and making sure I’m the best version of myself because there are so many people in this industry who just want to keep seeing me fall.”
Justin also spoke very candidly about his inner circle and even a little bit about getting his heart broken: “Trusting people is hard, especially for me. I’ve trusted people who I probably shouldn’t have trusted before and they’ve hurt my heart,” he said. “I’m a pretty sensitive guy, so I’ll lay it all on the line, and they’ll kind of pull it. So now I’m figuring out there’s certain people I can’t do that with.”
Adele's New Album Gets a Release Date?
Rumor has it Adele will release new music soon...finally...after more than four years!
The 27-year-old notoriously private "Rolling in the Deep" singer last released an album in 2011, the Grammy-winning 21, which had followed her debut major record, 19. Billboard is reporting that her record label, XL Recordings, plans to release her third album this November. Her rep had no comment.
In May 2014, before her 26th birthday, Adele posted a makeup-free selfie, saying, "Bye bye 25 ... See you again later in the year x," prompting fans to speculate that she planned to release a new album during the next few months titled 25, continuing the tradition of naming her records after years of her life.
In a October 2014, an annual financial report by her record label stated there would be no new release by Adele that year.
In 2012, more than a year after the release of 21, which dealt with heartbreak, Adele and longtime boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed their first child together, son Angelo, who is now 2 and a half.
Pharrell Williams, OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, Danger Mouse and Max Martin are among the artists and songwriters who have worked with the singer on her new album, Billboard reported.
Tedder, who co-wrote Adele's 2011 hit "Rumour Has It," told the Australia newspaper The Herald Sun in 2013 that the singer "sounds even better than before."
"I've seen her recently," Williams told Ryan Seacrest at Cannes Lions this past June, according to MTV U.K. "She's kinda like, 'OK guys, I'm gonna open my diary for 20 minutes'. So it's like, OK, you have 20 minutes, or 32 minutes really...Then she gives it to you and closes it up and disappears, and she's off with her beautiful boy--and that's what it's all about."
What will Adele's new album sound like? While there is no confirmation from the singer's rep or record company, this past May, pop star Kelly Clarkson told The Wall Street Journal that she heard the singer "is doing something more country influenced."
Pop crooner Ed Sheeran also offered a tiny hint about Adele's new music, although it's kind of expected:
"I haven't heard [the record], but everyone I know who've worked on it is just like, 'Dude... that record!'" he told the U.K.'s Capital FM Radio recently. "Apparently it's really good!"
Caitlyn Jenner To Be Sued For 18.5 Million By Passengers Involved In Fatal Car Crash
Caitlyn Jenner’s car accident troubles are far from over. Apparently the passengers in the Hummer, who were also involved in the fatal car accident that left one woman dead, plan on suing the reality star for $18.5 million.
Not only does Caitlyn Jenner, 65, have to worry about possibly going to jail for her fatal car crash, the other victims involved in the accident are planning on filing a civil suit against her. The five passengers want to sue Cait for negligence and are asking for an outstanding $18.5 million.
The 65-year-old isn’t the only person the occupants of the Hummer is suing. The five passengers apparently filed the same lawsuit against Kim Howe, the woman who died in the fatal car accident, for $18.5 million as well, reports TMZ. The lawsuits claim that Kim and Caitlyn were both negligent in the car crash. While it doesn’t make sense for the five victims to sue Kim’s estate for negligence since she was the victim in the crash, the lawsuit against Caitlyn is another story.
Since the reality star was found at fault in the crash after a 161-page report was published from the LA County Sheriff’s department, the civil lawsuit filed against her could very well be an open and close case for negligence. However, the amount the victims are asking for is insane. There’s no way to tell if the judge would actually reward the occupants all $18.5 million if Caitlyn is found guilty of negligence. This lawsuit may be the least of Caitlyn’s worries. If the court does convict Caitlyn for the fatal crash, she could end up in jail.
Caitlyn Scared Of Going To Jail More Than Transitioning
The possibility of going to jail is a scary thought, especially for Cait. “Caitlyn is horrified to go to jail, even more than transitioning,” a source close to the I Am Cait star EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com. “[Caitlyn] wants to make sure that she has the best legal team to avoid any jail time.” In place of jail, the source went on to tell us Caitlyn would much rather do community service or pay fines.
20 Things You Can Do With Your Time Now That the "What Do You Mean" Countdown Is Over
Justin Bieber, thank you for giving us our lives back.
For the last 30 days the singer has virtually held us hostage with his celebrity countdown. Each day for what feels like a true eternity, he has unleashed on the innocent public a veritable barrage of Instagram pictures reminding us that 1) his single is coming and 2) he has approximately one million famous friends (are you listening, Taylor Swift?).
Each picture has been basically the same: Famous Person X takes a selfie with a sign that says "Justin Bieber What Do You Mean" along with their corresponding day countdown. Now of course, some of them were actually pretty cute. And it was cool that Bieber convinced, like, Alec Baldwin to participate. We were even willing to let the fact that Biebs called Shaq his "big bro," because the image of O'Neill cheesing for the camera was so hilarious.
But enough is enough Justin! We get that your countdown did a great job of hyping the single, but why so many posts? We couldn't even open Instagram without being visually assaulted by that goddamn clock picture. And yes, we could have unfollowed, but that's such a weighty gesture and we weren't ready to make the commitment. The real solution was for Justin to cool it down.
But no matter, because now the assault is over. Now we have our sanity back. Now we have our freedom back--our freedom to scroll through Insta and see pictures we actually want to see, like Kendall Jenner in another crop top or that one blogger fake-eating another donut.
And we also have time; loads of it. So what's a gal to do now that she isn't spending hours a day trudging through #WhatDoYouMean? Why, any of these activities, of course
1. Re-watch True Detective and see if you can finally figure out what the heck is going on.
2. Try every mason jar recipe on Pinterest.
3. Stalk Gigi Hadid's Instagram and search for every hint of her breakup with Cody Simpson.20 Things You Can Do With Your Time Now That the "What Do You Mean" Countdown Is Over
4. Solve world peace.
5. Plan a vacation.
6. Rediscover all the bountiful Farmer's Market berry pictures on Instagram.
7. Mentally prepare yourself for Pumpkin Spice Latte season.
8. Write your own Top 40 song.
9. Read something. Anything.
10. Memorize all the moves to that "Beauty and a Beat" dance.
11. Memorize all the lyrics to "What Do You Mean."
12. Watch the video for "Baby" and reminisce about old Bieber.
13. Make your dog an Instagram account.
14. Host a lemonade stand.
15. Invent a new chocolate chip cookie recipe.
16. Listen to Carly Rae Jepsen's new album. It's good!
17. Become a milliner and create your own version of Justin's pilgrim hat.
18. Become a cobbler and make your own version of Yeezy Boosts.
19. Respond to every Internet troll you can find.
20. Conduct your usual routine of spending a solid hour before bed stalking all of your friends' Instagrams and feeling bad about yourself.
Justin Bieber: Congrats On Your Comeback — It’s Great That You Took Off Two Years
Justin — you didn’t have the easiest time in the past year and a half. But the most important thing is that you learned, you grew, and you’re coming back to your music career better than ever with ‘What Do You Mean’.
Justin Bieber, one of the toughest things in the world for a young person as talented as you, is to grow up in the spotlight and NOT combust. The examples of child stars who never crossed over to major adult careers are legendary: Macaulay Culkin, Lindsay Lohan, Aaron Carter and Amanda Bynes are examples. So, you were faced with a tricky situation. You were catapulted into stardom at 14 and worked nonstop for five years until the end of your Believe tour in 2013.
Justin, you needed to take a break. You HAD to have a break. You needed time to yourself, time to get some sleep, time to hang out and have fun and enjoy being a teenager. This was something you had to do, or you could have burned out for good. You knew that, your mom Pattie Mallette knew it, and your team knew it. But you had growing pains. You goofed up and you did some acting out. There are lots of teen guys who party a little too much at times, drive too fast sometimes, date a lot of different girls, and pull some pranks with their friends.
However, most teen guys aren’t under a microscope, aren’t followed by a herd of paparazzi and don’t have tens of millions of fans. But what’s most important is that going through everything — your ups and your downs, which were so cleverly roasted during the Roast of Justin Bieber — enabled you to mature and move on. You were able to “find” yourself and to find the new music within you. “The last couple of years have been a learning process for me,” you readily admitted in your interview with Elvis Duran Z100 on Aug. 28. “I never thought I really did anything wrong either, I think I’m under a microscope and there’s certain things I can look at and be like, ‘Yeah, that wasn’t me!’ but we all have those moments,” you explained.
It’s been great to see you move forward from those moments, though, with a new maturity and with humility and humor. “There was really no preparing me for this life. I was thrown into this at 12 years old, and I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. There’s been moments I’m really proud of and a lot of moments I look back and I’m pretty disappointed with myself for. But the things that I’ve done really don’t define who I am. I’m a kind-hearted person who loves people and through it all, lost some of my best qualities. For that, I’m sorry,” he said at his March 30 roast.
Justin, you’re now 21, and being humble and honest demonstrates how much you have grown up. Now you’ve been able to move forward and make the best music of your life. “Where Are U Now” was such a surprising and brilliant progression for you. And you let it come out so quietly that it was like a wonderful gift for your fans and new listeners to unwrap. Now you’ve premiered your catchy “What Do You Mean” single, and fans can’t get it out of their heads.
The video teaser looks amazing, and appears to be another fascinating next step. You’ve said that you want to focus on “the music” now, and it’s clear that you have. “I just want to be around people who I feel are supporting me, uplifting me, and making sure I’m the best version of myself.” Wise words, Justin. Also love that you said the only thing you’d do differently about the last couple of years is “stay away from Miami”! You really are totally together now! Congrats, Justin — can’t wait to see everything that you’re going to do.
See Zendaya's Perfect Response to Internet Trolls Who Called Her Parents Ugly
The ever-eloquent, queen of doing good Zendaya is shutting down ignorant bullies yet again...this time, in defense of her own parents.
Earlier this week, a few Internet trolls shared a photo of the 18-year-old (how is she only 18?!) with her mom and dad, Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu. They began commenting about how "ugly" her parents are, and one user even went as far as saying she "would cry" if her parents looked like them.
Zendaya was not about to let anyone talk poorly about her family, so she stepped in and did exactly what she's good at: came back with an exquisitely eloquent statement filled with love and realization to put the bullies right into place.
"First I'm gonna pray for you," she wrote. "While you're so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world. They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people's parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicated their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow mind. (One of the most important yet underpaid jobs we have)."
She then urged the users to focus on what's really important: "Please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook...and while you're at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you."
Of course this isn't Zendaya's first time standing up against Internet trolls. In June, the singer showed her support for YouTube makeup tutorial artist Shannon C. after someone shaded her for what she looks like with a bare face.
A user by the name of @Manstogram shared a split image of Shannon with and without makeup on and captioned it, "This is why our first date is running a mile around the track to see if you sweat the makeup off."
Zendaya responded perfectly with her own makeup-free photo and wrote, "@Manstagram_ that awkward moment when this tweet is irrelevant cause she's slaying both ways #wannaborrowmyglasses."
She gives true meaning to #GIRLPOWER.

They might not be an item anymore but Rihanna, 27, and Chris Brown, 26, are certainly connected. After hearing that the Houston police is looking for the baby’s birth certificate dad, Rihanna fears for Royalty‘s safety and has told Chris she’s willing to take care of her while he’s on tour!
That’s awfully sweet of Rihanna. We’re told the Unapologetic artist is shaken up by this bone chilling news and is offering to lend her help and support to Chris the best way she knows how. “She feels so bad for Chris,” a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com. “She can’t for a second begin to imagine what Chris is feeling because she’s not a parent. The New iPhone 6S Is Going to Change Selfies Forever
We apologize ahead of time for what's about to happen to your Instagram feed.
If you thought it was overloaded with selfies before, just wait. It's only going to get worse. But there's also some good news: If you decide to take a selfie it's going to be vastly improved--if you get the new iPhone 6S of course.
Whispers of what this mysterious new phone will include have been swirling for weeks now. Will it be pink? Will it be rose gold? Is Siri finally going to get her s--t together? Well there still aren't a lot of answers (and there isn't a release date yet either), but we're feeling very encouraged by the latest piece of news to hit the rumor mill.
According to 9to5 Mac, the front-facing camera is going to get a huge upgrade on the new phones. The best feature? There's finally going to be a flash! Never again are you going to have to settle for a dark, grainy selfie just because you don't happen to be standing in front of professional photography lights. Think of the opportunities--selfies at concerts! Selfies at museums! Selfies during a blackout!
Oh and don't worry, it's not going to be a retina-damaging blinding light; instead, the front of your screen will emit a glow to lighten you up. Technology!
The front-facing camera will also be able to do panorama shots now, but you'll probably be too busy with your flash-selfies to notice. Here we come iPhone 6.

SMOKING
"Each of us should think of the future. Every puff on a cigarette is another tick closer to a time bomb of terrible consequences. Lt. Christopher Hitchens didn't care about the consequences of smoking cigarettes. Tragically, he died of throat cancer in December 2011." - Ray Comfort.
When I started writing this article, I heard a voice in my head asking me this question; 'Why write this today? Why not write it tomorrow? and I replied saying,' Tomorrow might be too late.'
It is good from time to time to recall all the big and little reasons why you might want to quit smoking. Reading this blog today, might help you. Today might be the best day to start seriously thinking about quitting smoking, you can start by comparing both the negative and the positive things you've achieved from smoking.
Smoking sucks! Any time people tell me to try out smoking, I ask myself this question; "Do you actually want to spend the rest of your life fighting a stupid addiction to a stupid thing that doesn't even give any benefit?"
The true face of smoking is disease, death and horror - not the glamour and sophistication the youths of our generation try to portray.
Early this year, I had a conversation with a friend of mine and I asked him why he loves smoking. He told me he smokes because he has insomnia. Later that day, while I was praying, I told GOD that he shouldn't make his last puff make him sleep forever.
There will never be a “perfect” time to quit smoking. If you had started today one year ago, this would not even be an issue for you today! Don’t waste another year!
A friend of mine once said, 'I wish I could tell young women that smoking is not glamorous neither is it wife material.' - Princess Akunna.
The next time you want to smoke, think of the people you love, think of the people that love you and let it serve as a reminder that they do not want to lose you.
I BELIEVE IN YOU AND I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!

How I stopped watching porn for one year and why I'm not going back
I know a lot of us watch porn and we're finding it very hard to stop. So, here's an article written by someone I do not know. I know it's really long but trust me it will help. Please feel free to leave a comment below and make sure you tell your friends about the article too.
I remember when I first discovered internet porn – I was 17 years old. Fascinated by this world of unleashed sexual expression and fantasy, I couldn’t get enough of it. I thought I'd outgrow my porn habit over time. But I never did.
As I grew up and began exploring my own sexuality, I discovered just how different watching pixels on a screen was compared to the intimacy of making love with another human being.
I didn’t know it then, but porn had become an addiction. And, like most addictions, it was a behavior that I was ashamed to talk about or even admit was a problem. “Yeah, everybody watches porn,” I remember hearing. It seemed so pervasive and culturally accepted that having an actual conversation about it was a total non-starter. So I kept it to myself.
I thought I had my habit under control. I thought I could quit porn whenever I felt like it. I even tried to quit a few times and then rationalized my eventual return to the addiction.
I didn’t realize how much watching porn manipulated my mind, warping my sexuality, numbing my feelings, and impacting my relationships with women. And I was not alone.
According to a recent study, more than 70 per cent of men ages 18 to 34 visit porn sites in a typical month. And it’s not just guys watching sex online. It is estimated that one in three porn users today are women.
Now, I want to be clear here that porn use extends beyond the male/female gender binary, but for the purpose of this post I am sharing my experience with porn from the perspective of a heterosexual, cisgender, white man.
Let me also state clearly that I don’t think all porn is bad. I’ve seen some great videos of couples engaging in intimate and respectful sexual encounters – of course, these are often only found on feminist porn sites or in the “female friendly” category (It’s interesting to note what the category name “female friendly” implies about all the other categories).
But I’m not here to judge anyone else for what they choose to watch. I’m simply sharing the impacts that porn has had on my life and what has changed for me since I’ve stopped using it.
To me, what is worrying about porn is not how many people use it, but how many people – like me – have found themselves addicted to it.
As Dr Jeffrey Satinover stated in his 2004 testimony to the US Senate subcommittee on pornography: “Modern science allows us to understand that the underlying nature of an addiction to pornography is chemically nearly identical to a heroin addiction.”
Impacts of Porn
A lot of studies have been conducted on the impacts of porn on men and women in society. Of all of those impacts, three most resonated with my experience:
1. Violence against women: This includes an obsession with looking at women rather than interacting with them (voyeurism), an attitude in which women are viewed as objects of men’s sexual desire, and the trivialization of rape and widespread acceptance of rape culture – fueled by fake depictions of women in porn videos often pretending to desire violent and abusive sexual acts.
2. Numbness and disembodiment: This can include erectile dysfunction, inability to orgasm when not watching porn, detachment from your physical body, emotional unavailability and numbness, lack of focus and patience, poor memory, and general lack of interest in reality. Furthermore, these outcomes in men have been linked to boredom with their sexual partners, higher levels of sexual promiscuity, adultery, divorce, sexism, rape, abuse, and suicide.
3. Fear of intimacy: Watching porn contributes to many men’s inability to relate to women in an honest and intimate way despite a longing to feel loved and connected. This is because pornography exalts our sexual needs over our need for sensuality and intimacy; some men develop a preoccupation with sexual fantasy that can powerfully impede their capacity for emotionally intimate relationships.
Why I Quit Watching
I always felt like a hypocrite watching porn. Here I was, a man who is striving to be an ally to women, perpetuating the very culture of violence and misogyny that I was ostensibly trying to fight. The reality was that most of the videos I found online had titles that included words like “bitch” or “slut” and showcased controlling behaviors that were rooted in a culture of subjugation and objectification, where women are nothing more than sexual bodies to be exploited and dominated by men.
When I am deeply honest, I have to admit I was both intrigued and disgusted at the same time. By that time, my mind had been socially conditioned to find aggressive, misogynistic, and even non-consensual sex arousing. That is a difficult thing for me to admit. But it got to a point where I felt physically ill watching the videos, and yet I kept watching. That’s when I realized I was dealing with an addiction.
What I’ve discovered is that there is a whole spectrum of addiction, from a feeling of compulsion on one end to an intense addiction on the other. My porn addiction seems to have been pretty mild, since I did not experience any serious withdrawal effects. For some people with more serious addictions, professional support may be needed.
Last February, after a decade of use, I decided to quit watching porn for 1 year. I did this, both for the challenge of seeing if I could do it, and for the chance to see how life might be different. Now this may not seem like a big deal, but it was actually a radical commitment to uphold.
Today marks my 1-year anniversary of life without porn. It hasn’t been easy, particularly as a single guy, but what I’ve learned about myself through this experience has transformed my life forever.
Life After Porn
Life has shifted in some pretty powerful ways during my year without porn:
1. Integrity and love: Since dropping porn, I have restored a sense of personal integrity that was missing. Regaining this integrity has allowed me to move through a lot of my shame and find myself in an incredible new space of deepening love for myself and others. I’ve also noticed that I am often able to stay more present with women now, rather than projecting fantasies onto them. This was hard to do when my mind was cluttered with images from porn videos. This newfound presence has also allowed me to begin to dismantle some of the subconscious sexism that I’ve held, helping me work toward becoming a better ally to the women in my life.
2. Embodiment and emotional expression: My year without porn has helped me reconnect to my body and begin to transform my emotional numbness into healthy emotional expression. I’ve begun to expand my sense of self by learning how to move out of my head and into my heart. After many long years void of emotional expression, I’ve reconnected to my tears. This release of suppressed emotional tension has unlocked a lot of joy in my life. All of this has helped me begin to shift my sexuality from mental masturbation and physical detachment to true intimacy, presence, and embodiment.
3. Creativity and passion: Over the past year, I’ve started feeling more comfortable in my own skin. I’ve become much more willing to let go of control, to improvise, and to accept people’s differences. I trust myself more than I ever have and, as a result, my sense of self-confidence has soared. I wake up every morning grateful to be alive, clear about my life’s purpose, and passionate about the work I am doing in the world. My life today has a depth of authenticity and power that I never felt before.
Stepping Up
This week, many people in my community and around the world are engaging in conversations about ending the sexual violence and abuse that directly affect over a billion women across the globe today.
Of course, women and girls are not the only ones hurt by sexual violence. I’ve heard stories from a lot of men who are also affected by cycles of violence and abuse that got passed on through generations. It is important, however, for me to recognize that far more women than men are victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse, and that men account for a vast majority of all perpetrators.
As Richard Rohr says, “Pain that is not transformed is transmitted.” So how do we, as men, break this cycle of violence? It’s clear to me that we will never transform our pain within a culture of silence. It is only by bringing our shadows to the light that we can diffuse the power that they hold over us.
Over the past several years, I have heard a lot about inequality, sexism, and violence against women. I believe it is vital for porn to be a part of that conversation, particularly amongst men.
If we are serious about ending violence against women, then we must be willing to have open and honest conversations about how porn is impacting our lives.
I am committed to a world of love, respect, and safety for all people. I’m sick of all the shame, numbness, and secrecy surrounding porn and addiction. And I’m outraged by all of the violence, degradation, and exploitation of women and children. Enough is enough!
The only way we can transform the culture of violence is to make it transparent by speaking the truth about the ways that we consciously and subconsciously contribute to it. A culture of love and healing can only be built on a foundation of radical honesty and integrity, built from the ground up in our own lives.
Will you stand with me? It’s time we start talking about the things we’ve been afraid to talk about, knowing we’re not alone. It’s time we begin transforming our pain into love, by opening our hearts and reconnecting with our bodies.
It’s time we, as men, step into a more mature masculine: one that recognizes the sacredness of life, one that creates intimacy and cultivates authentic connection and healing, one that is unafraid to love and be loved.

The Inspiring Story Of Timaya: His Struggles And How He Rose To Fame
From a former plantain seller who once lived with a woman older than him in Port-Harcourt to the huge star we know today, this is the story of a great young man that rose beyond all limitations to become the man he is today.
His Early Childhood (Timaya The Brazen Child)
Timaya ran away from home at the age of 14. The stubborn and self opinionated child was the last born in a family of 15 children whose father wanted him to become a banker like he was. But obviously, he had other ideas as he grew up loving entertainment and was not ready to compromise his dream for anything else.
Besides wanting freedom, Timaya also wanted to be free from his domineering older siblings who wanted to turn him into an errand boy.
His quest for freedom was so great that, he himself was recorded saying,
‘One day, I left the house but they caught and returned me after a year of living wild on the streets. I was tied and beaten up severely. I would act like I’m okay and the next thing, I’d run away again. That was my lifestyle until, my mother called my elder sister to say she was tired of me and urged her to take me to live with her in Lagos.’
Sometimes when there was a show in town, he would sneak out to watch the show and when he comes back the next morning, his mother would want to kill him.
His Sojourn In Lagos (The Life Of A Hustler)
After attending Ikeja Grammar school, he began life as an hustler on the streets. He even dropped out of the University just so he could return to the streets.
Coming back to Lagos, Timaya joined Eedris Abdulkareem’s band as a back-up singer and worked for him for about three years even though he wasn’t paid a dime.
According to him,
He never paid me a dime in the three years I worked for him except for an occasion he gave me N1000 after a show in Kuramo beach.
Everybody that worked with Eedris when I was with him had a dream but he never helped make their dream happen.
Timaya having taken part in a talent audition by Hilda Dokubo and her husband and lost, met K-Solo in his studio in Mafoluku Oshodi and would often take a bike from his sister’s place in Oshodi to his studio every time.
They began work on his album, recorded seven raw and uncut demo CD and cut 5000 promo CDs without mixing the songs before giving them out to people for free.
Still Trying To Hit It Big
With a determined mind, he met Danco Music who offered to buy his master tape for 1 Million after T-Joe and Obaino has offered him 40 – 45,000.
1 Million naira richer, he went back to Port Harcourt, spent N190, 000 to buy a power bike and rent an apartment. The rest of the money he spent on Okirika wears as he felt his status needed an upgrade.
He revealed he survived on the mangoes he plucked in the compound after spending the money finish. Little did he know, his breakthrough was coming.
Success At Last!
His first breakthrough came when he was paid N150, 000 to perform for students of Federal Polytechnics Nekede, Owerri and since then Timaya has never looked back.

Newly appointed Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu has hinted that the Federal Government spent over N5 trillion on fuel subsidy between 2006 and 20012.
This is even as the ongoing reforms at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) took another dimension yesterday, with the announcement of a new business model for the midstream oil sector that will end fuel importation.
Speaking on moves to transform the midstream oil sector into a transparent, efficient and fair market at the 2015 National Association of Energy Correspondents (NAEC) Conference with the theme, “Energy Crises and Sustainable Development in Nigeria: The Way Forward.” the GMD said it would involve the rehabilitation of the Brownfield Refineries. He said it was unfortunate that Nigeria has become the highest importer of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) despite its huge resources.Kachikwu, who was represented by the Executive Director, Services, Nigerian Engineering and Technical Company (NETCO), a subsidiary of NNPC, however, assured that going forward, NNPC will ensure that this was no longer the case in the country.
Kachikwu assured that the corporation was fully committed to reforming the existing refineries to boost domestic petroleum product supply.
He said all the refineries have been re-streamed but are yet to attain optimal capacity, stating that removal of price control mechanisms is deemed imperative to ensure full growth of the sub-sector by allowing private stakeholders to complement government efforts in developing the industry. He said while Africa produces about 10 per cent of the world’s oil, only 3.6 per cent of that is refined on the continent, as its refining capacity has remained unchanged for the past 20 years. According to him, Cameroon and Cote d’Ivoire together export about 34mbpd, meeting only 10.2 per cent of the West and Central Africa demand shortfall.
Regrettably, NNPC helmsman lamented that over N5 trillion has been expended on fuel subsidy between 2006 and 2012, a development which makes the fuel subsidy regime unsustainable.
He explained that subsidy creates distortions in government revenue distribution as a result of round tripping and unnecessary carry over of expenditures every year in a way that is difficult for government to control or sustain. The NNPC boss disclosed that subsidy accounted for 20 per cent of the Federal Government’s budget in 2013, stressing that the government is not in control of the factors that influence retail fuel price, particularly fluctuations of crude oil price at the international market.
According to him, speedy implementation of the deregulation policy would go a long way in encouraging inflow of private sector and international investment; ensure that Nigerians derive fair deal from the abundant petroleum resources in the country through fair products’ prices for consumers and full cost recovery and reasonable margins for operators.
“Implementation of the policy will entrench efficiency in product usage, product availability and effective competition among investors hence putting an end to product shortage. However, critical enablers such as security of the supply and distribution infrastructure must be assured to guarantee the availability of the petroleum products at affordable prices,” he said.
Catholic clergy drowns in Lagos beach
The Catholic community in Lagos is yet to come to terms with the tragic death of Rev. Francis Alex Okafor. The man drowned during a send-forth party organised in his honour at the Ibeshe Beach in Oriade Local Council Development Area of the state. Eyewitness account said, while Rev. Okafor and some of his guests were swimming, a strong current came and carried him, together with some of the people. Divers who were immediately mobilised were able to rescue three of them, while Rev Okafor could not be found. Two days after, his lifeless body was found floating at the edge of the sea.
Rev. Okafor who was in his 30s, was ordained Deacon on July 4, 2015, and was subsequently posted to St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Agboju, Lagos for the mandatory six weeks apostolic work.
When Saturday Sun visited the parish within the week, the whole place wore sombre look. There were no activities in the premises. The few people around were in groups, obviously discussing the incident.
Describing the incident as a rude shock, Mr. Percy Okuofo, president of Redemption Youth Vocation Ministry (RYVM), the group which organised the ill-fated send-forth, told Saturday Sun that the late Reverend was an excellent example to the youths.
According to him, “By Catholic rules, before one could become a priest, he must have undergone about nine years of intensive and rigorous training, which also involves an apostolic work in a Catholic church. This would enable him to get acquainted with all it takes to celebrate a mass and acquire more experience in the various aspects of church administration. For the late Rev he has already been ordained a deacon, and waiting to be ordained a priest next year.
“Having completed the six weeks apostolic work at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church Agboju, the late Okafor was full of joy and was warming up to meet his family in Zaria. The Parish Priest Rev. Father Michael Okoh, the parishioners and the members of the church planned a colourful send-forth for him on Sunday, August 16, after which he would leave for further engagements.”
Ahead of the proposed sent-forth party, the youths of the church under the umbrella of RSYVM, decided to organise the beach party for him.
Battling to control his tears, Okuofo said: “while some of the youths and the late Reverend were swimming, three of them, including the clergy were swept away by a strong current and vanished in the water. Onlookers and other swimmers were surprised at what had happened and immediately went on a rescue mission.
“Luckily, some divers around were able to save two of the youths, a boy and a girl, while Okafor’s body could not be found. We kept monitoring the area till his bloated body surfaced.”
During the Service of Songs organised by the church, Priest in-charge, Rev Fr Michael Okoh described the late Okafor as an obedient servant of God and a hardworking gentleman who did his best to lift the church within the short period he came.
The late Okafor who hailed from Anambra State, was trained by his single mother. He was to be ordained priest in July 2016, after about nine years training. It was also learnt that he was the only son of his parents.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command confirmed the incident and described it as unfortunate.
You’re in midst of corrupt people – Ohanaeze tells Buhari
The Secretary General of the Igbo apex body, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Joe Nwaorgu, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to start his corruption war with people around him because he is in the midst of them, even though he is not one of them.
In a chat with Saturday Sun, Dr. Nwaorgu said: “There are corrupt people around President Buhari. In public perception, people who are corrupt, are very much around him.
“He should cast his eyes around him and get those who are parading to be in the same party with him, but who do not have the same pedigree in terms of decency like him.”
Nworgu was reacting to statements made earlier in the week by His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto on the president’s resolve to fight corruption.
At the National Security Summit organised by the Nigeria Police in collaboration with The Sun Newspaper, the Sultan had advocated that looters should not only be made to return what they stole, but they also should be sent to jail.
On what the president should do to the corrupt he said are around him (president), the Ohanaeze scribe said he should do the same thing that he is going to do to those in other parties – and all the sectors – not just PDP administration.
Reacting to insinuations from certain quarters that his crusade is towards the opposition, Dr. Nwaorgu maintained that the president should cast his net near enough, noting that there are people who are masquerading also as angels around him but who are not; but who in the public eyes are corrupt.
On the position of the Sultan that looters should be jailed, in addition to retrieving what they stole, Nwaorgu said he has no comment on that except that, “if the president is probing, he should go beyond the last regime or else it will be a witch-hunt. So, he should go deeper than that.
“Obasanjo’s administration should also be probed. Let them say what they did; they did nothing in Igbo land for eight years. Were we not part of Nigeria during Obasanjo’s regime? There is nothing to show for it in Igbo land, or don’t we have constitutional rights? So, Buhari should probe from 1999.”
According to him, it is a witch-hunt on his opponent, former President Goodluck Jonathan, if the probe should be focused on the last administration. “Just let him start from 1999. It is not that the military was not corrupt or there was no corruption under the military, but let us leave that.”
The Ohanaeze scribe also stated that Igbo are not against President Buhari, contrary to a statement credited to Dr. Junaid Mohammed, the Convener of the Coalition of Northern Politicians, Academics, Professionals and Businessmen.
Mohammed, who was responding to Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife’s accusation that Buhari’s appointments so far have been skewed against Igbo, stated: “If it is about Buhari making the appointments based on merit, I have no problems with it. I don’t believe Buhari or Nigeria owes any Igbo anything.”
According to Dr. Nwaorgu, Igbo are not against Buhari, stressing that, having won the election, he is now the president of all. “Electioneering is over and Buhari is the president of everybody and all Nigerians must co-operate with him to succeed.
“It is a fact that we voted for Jonathan, but that is electioneering. It has come and gone. Buhari is president of Nigeria. Electioneering is gone, governance started on May 29. Governance is different from electioneering. When he was running for president, he was an APC person and now president for all of us.
“So, if people of Junaid Mohammed’s ilk are still practising outdated politics, they can remain at that level. Every Nigerian is free to air his opinion.
“Ezeife aired his opinion from his own perspective and experience. Junaid’s response is at best acerbic and it is out of tune. It is out of tune with cooperation and reconciliation.
“No true Nigerian, who believes in unity, will throw up such nonsense as Junaid Mohammed did.He was playing to tribal gallery for him to still be seen as a non-existent cause.
“Such trash should be ignored while we strive hard for unity in Nigeria. Buhari is our president and nobody can corner him unto himself or to his tribe.”

David Beckham's Love for his son
Love it like Beckham!
At 16 years old, Brooklyn Beckham may be at that age when hanging out with your parents is sooo not cool. But then again, when your mom and dad are David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, it could be another story.
On Wednesday morning, the soccer stud and underwear model took to Instagram to share a candid father-son moment with Brooklyn.
The results may just melt your heart.
"Something tells me I love this not so little man so much...." David wrote on Instagram. "Growing up fast into a perfect gentleman and hiking buddy....I love you big boy ❤."
In the picture-perfect shot, the former Los Angeles Galaxy player wraps his arm around his son for the ultimate bro hug as they reach the top of their hike. Based on Brooklyn's smirk, we'd say he doesn't totally hate the love from his parent.
As it turns out, the two aren't just hanging out together while working out. David has also spent some quality time with his son on a recent date.
During an appearance on the Late Late Show, David revealed that he tagged along on Brooklyn's first romantic night out.
"On his first date, which he was about 14 and a half, Victoria was actually in London. It was Valentine's Day and he said, 'I'd love to take this girl to dinner,'" David recalled. "So we took him to a small sushi restaurant and he sat at the sushi bar and I sat about five tables back." LOL.
Imagine what will happen when daughter Harper Beckham starts dating.

Demi Lovato Used to Hate ''Every Inch'' Of Her Body--But Not Anymore!
Demi Lovato won't apologize for her new cover of Cosmopolitan because, well, she has no reason to be sorry.
The "Cool For Summer" singer stuns in a slinky silver dress.
However, just as the mag was being released, some critics called for it be hidden on the newsstands because they think the magazine is too NSFW.
"It took so much for me to get a place where I would feel comfortable enough to do that," Lovato told me exclusively last night at Samsung's Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note5 launch event in West Hollywood. "If anything, it's showing all of my fans who know my story and my journey that I've gone from hating every inch of my body to doing a photo shoot in my underwear in front of the entire world. That's more of statement to me than just looking sexy on a magazine cover.
"It's so important for me to show people that," she added.
Go, Demi!
And if you don't like the magazine, Lovato said, "Watch your damn kids! You don't want them reading the magazine? Watch your kids!"
Lovato is also going to be celebrating her 23rd birthday tomorrow.
"I kind of have been so busy that I'm sort of looking forward to having a solid day off," she said. "I might have a little get together with my closest friends and then maybe at some point, having a dinner. No parties. I'm just wanting to chill."
But she did say she wouldn't be indulging on cake on the big day because she's getting ready for a secret project. "I have something I have to train for," Lovato teased. "So I don't want to have a birthday party until I could f--king eat birthday cake."
Nick Jonas and Kendall Jenner Are "Nothing Serious" Yet, Couple Is Keeping It "Pretty Light"
Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas are a relatively new couple, so they're making sure they take it very slowly.
A source tells E! News exclusively that the supermodel and "Jealous" crooner aren't serious just yet but are enjoying each other's company and have been on a "few dates" when they're not too busy focusing on their own schedules.
"Nick and Kendall are hanging out, but it's nothing that serious, as Jonas just got out of a relationship and isn't looking for anything major at the moment," the source dishes. "He is really focusing on his career at this time. He enjoys hanging with Kendall when they are both in the same city, and it's nice because they have a similar group of friends (and family) in common."
Nick famously dated Olivia Culpo for two years, but decided to call it quits almost three months ago. The split was amicable, and the former Disney star even told E! News that he wanted nothing but happiness for his former love. "I wish the best for her in the future and we had a great two years," he said.
Because he's still pretty new to the dating world, our source insists that Kendall and Nick are "pretty light as of now."
Does that mean it could get more serious in the future? Potentially!
Nick also told E! News in late June that he was going to concentrate on his music career over a relationship. "I don't know, it's too early," he said. "I'm focused on my work and that, to me, is the priority right now."
Kendall is doing the same, as she is launching a new footwear line with her sister Kylie Jenner and has become the face of many fashion campaigns. When she isn't traveling the world for her modeling career, she's often off celebrating family milestones, such as Kylie's birthday in Mexico. Clearly these two are on the same page when it comes to life: work first (for now), personal life second.
Then again, Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas have made it work amid hectic schedules, so only time will tell what happens with Nick and Kendall!

If Flavour Asks Me Out, My Answer Will Be ……… – Chidinma
In a recent chitchat wit Vanguard, popular crooner, Chidinma Ekile when asked about her relationship status had this to say,
“ Why I am still single? Maybe, because I’m yet to see the man who is made for me or the person is yet to find me. So I am single and happy. The fact is I had few friends and some wanted to take the relationship seriously, but it never worked out. Though, I have a lot of male friends around me, but there has never been anything serious. Several stars have been crushing on me, in fact, I thought I would have been crushed by now. But to be honest, am dating none of them.
For Adams, if I start telling you about him, we won’t leave here. He’s my good friend. We both insult each other every time. When the story came out, I was not surprised because we both are very close.
For Flavour, music brought us together and nothing more and if he had asked me out the answer would have been a capital ‘NO’.

CBN Finalises Guidelines for Diaspora BVN Enrolment
As part of efforts towards the full implementation of the bank verification number (BVN), the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in collaboration with key stakeholders in the banking industry has unveiled the guidelines for the enrolment of Nigerian bank customers in the Diaspora.
The banking sector regulator explained that the plan was to roll out in 12 locations in the first phase. The locations are London, Leicester, New York, Atlanta, Washington DC, Houston, Johannesburg, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dubai and New Delhi. The second phase would include locations with a high demand for service based on online feedback, the CBN stated, adding that remote locations with lower concentration of Nigerians would be accommodated through scheduled sessions over defined periods.
The central bank in a circular signed by the Director, Banking and Payment System, CBN, Mr. Dipo Fatokun, stated that Nigerian bank customers in the diaspora can present themselves for BVN enrolment, without travelling to the country. It also specified two options through which this could be achieved.
The first option, in the circular dated August 18, 2015, a copy of which was posted on the central bank’s website, was for customers of Nigerian banks to present themselves to the offshore branches/subsidiaries of any Nigerian bank (where such facilities have been made available), for the BVN enrolment.
“The deployment of scanners and other devices to these locations have started in earnest. Nigerian banks abroad are expected to capture necessary data, generate a BVN and communicate same to the customers. Thereafter, the customers are expected to forward the assigned BVN to their banks, for linkage with their accounts.
“A web portal to achieve this linkage to bank accounts has been developed and deployed, while the process of such linkage will be made available by the Nigerian Interbank Settlement System (NIBSS) to all those enrolled abroad,” the CBN explained.
It further directed all banks with branches/subsidiaries abroad to work with the NIBSS to ensure seamless implementation of this option.
The second option, according to the central bank is the use of a company, known as the Online Integrated Solution (OIS). The banking sector regulator explained that the company had been engaged to establish stations for data capture and generation of BVN at the cost of £30 per transaction, to be paid by the customer.
The company is expected to capture necessary data for online transmission to the NIBSS, who would thereafter, generate the BVN and communicate same to the customer.
“The customer may approach OIS for BVN, where the communication from NIBSS is not received within 48 hours after the enrolment. Thereafter, Nigerian bank customers in the diaspora are expected to forward their BVN to their banks for linkage with their accounts as in option one above,” it explained.
The BVN is a biometric unique number given to a bank customer after enrolment. It is an initiative aimed at protecting bank customers and further strengthening the Nigerian banking system.
Senators Concerned as Buhari May Have Overlooked Confirmations for AMCON
Some members of the National Assembly have expressed concern that in announcing the appointment of a new executive management team for the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), President Muhammadu Buhari may have overlooked the statutory requirement of seeking the Senate’s confirmation for his nominees before they can become substantive appointees.
The president was also expected to have consulted with the Federal Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), which by virtue of their ownership of 50 per cent each in AMCON, are statutorily required to nominate the executive management team and forward their recommendations to the president.
The president on Tuesday approved the dissolution of AMCON’s executive management team and simultaneously approved the reconstitution of a new management team for the corporation.
With the announcement, Mr. Mustapha Chike-Obi, the pioneer managing director of AMCON, was immediately replaced by Ahmed Lawan Kuru. In addition, three new executive directors were also appointed.
But the AMCON Act 2010 clearly stipulates that such appointments by the president shall be subject to the confirmation of the Senate, which the statement from the president’s media aide, Femi Adesina, was silent on.
In contrast, when the president appointed the service chiefs in June, he made it clear that their appointment was subject to their confirmation by the Senate.
Specifically, Section 10 (1) of the AMCON Act, 2010, states: “The board shall consist of the following members to be appointed by the president subject to the confirmation of the Senate:
“(a) A part-time Chairman who shall be a nominee of the Federal Ministry of Finance in consultation with the Minister.
“(b) A Managing Director who shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the corporation nominated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
“(c) Three Executive Directors, who shall be nominated by the CBN in consultation with the Minister; and
“(d) Five other non-Executive Directors, two to be nominated by the Federal Ministry of Finance, two by the CBN and one by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).”
According to a National Assembly source, the dilemma in the appointments by the president, who directed that their appointments came into effect on Tuesday, is that with the lawmakers on recess till September 29, this will mean that the confirmation will be kept in abeyance.
“The new management team of AMCON requires Senate confirmation by law. The president just made the announcement without simultaneously seeking for their confirmation by the Senate.
“As it stands, except the Senate decides to hold an emergency session for the purpose of their confirmation, they would have to wait until September 29,” he explained.
When contacted, a senior presidency official admitted that it was an oversight, adding that the clarification on the appointment of the new management team for AMCON was subject to confirmation by the Senate would be made public today.
He added that a letter will also be forwarded by the president to the Senate seeking for the confirmation of his nominees, in line with the AMCON Act.
Also an official of AMCON informed THISDAY that in the absence of a substantive executive management team and a board, which was dissolved by the president last month alongside other boards of federal parastatals, the activities of the corporation might be hampered.
The official explained that the only “A” signatories to AMCON’s bank accounts were from the ousted executive management team and it would require the board to form a quorum, comprising three non-executive directors and two executive directors, and pass a resolution to alter the “A” and “B” signatories of the corporation.
“This means that our activities may be hampered for a while and possibly the payment of salaries affected until these bureaucratic hurdles are scaled.
“The problem is the law setting up AMCON clearly spells out all these issues,” he said.

Buhari must probe Fashola for spending taxpayers’ money on his website, Tinibu too – Bode George
A former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to beam his anti-corruption searchlight on two former governors of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola (SAN).
The PDP chieftain in a statement issued on Wednesday noted that it would be unfair and undemocratic if Buhari spared the duo in his anti-corruption crudase.
He specifically urged the president to probe Fashola for lavishing N78.3m of taxpayers’ money on a personal website, www.tundefashola.com.
He said Fashola’s flimsy excuse for spending N78.3m on a website was annoying and should be recycled.
He said, “we are living in a very interesting time. There is an air of repugnancy everywhere, most especifically in my state where the immoral stench and the dark odium of Mr. Babatunde Fashola’s administration is daily being unearthed.
“What is most disgusting and annoying in all these is the arrogant and the befuddled attempt of Mr. Fashola to justify the apparent reckless misappropriation of Lagos state taxpayers’ money to set up a personal web site.
“Fashola shows no remorse, no semblance of regret, no guilty nudging of conscience. Instead, he still attempts to ride a high horse, puffing and stomping in feigned seraphic innocence. We are not fooled.”
George said many of the projects undertaken by Fashola were done at exorbitant prices.
The PDP chieftain wondered how the 1.6km Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge could cost N29bn.
He added, “We knew all along that the emperor had no clothes. Using N78m of taxpayers’ money to build a website is reckless misappropriation. The phony over N29bn used to build a mere kilometre long link bridge is outrageous venality.
“The spurious N1.5bn allegedly spent on phantom pedestrian bridges is another con game. And there are so many of these screaming illegalities observable in the record of our poster boy of yesterday!”
The statement added that the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government would do well to start implementing its promise of change from within.
George said, “In a more just society, Mr. Fashola should be facing a comprehensive investigation rather than being considered for any appointment at all. President Buhari should use the Fashola case as an acid test of sparing no one with any intimation of public malfeasance.
“Rather than engaging in a smug chest beating of innocence, Mr. Fashola should first remove himself from any consideration of public appointment and openly call for a judicial probe of his eight years in office.
“Nothing else will bring out the true picture. Lagos State is now the biggest debtor in the federation with over a trillion naira in bad debts. It may take at least 40 years before Fashola’s indebtedness can be defrayed! What a malady!”
George said there was no way Fashola would be probed without probing Tinubu because one was the creation of the other.
He said, “In the end there is no way to divorce Fashola from Bola Tinubu. They are both linked in unutterable complicity. If Fashola stands today in tarnished allegations, Tinubu, his godfather, cannot possibly distance himself in innocent escapism.
“If Fashola now rots in the mud, we must look through the depths to understand the instigating and factor. Whenever Fashola is cooling his feet at the interrogation centre, Tinubu should not be far behind”.
How to get rid of pimples with home remedies
Pimples are a normal skin condition that affect many people. Pimples are an inflammation of the skin in which the sebaceous glands (oil glands) become infected with bacteria, swell up, and fill with pus.
Excess sebum secretion by the oil glands is the primary cause behind this problem. Pimples generally occur on the face, neck, back and shoulders. Though not a critical condition, pimples can make a person feel miserable due to their appearance.
There are a lot of lotions and medicines on the market to treat pimples but they can take time. Many natural methods are effective in treating pimples within a very short time period.
Here are the top 4 ways to get rid of pimples fast.
1. ICE
Ice can be used to quickly reduce the redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples. It helps in improving blood circulation to the affected area, and in tightening the skin pores and removing dirt and oil accumulated on the skin. You can use ice cubes or crushed ice, whichever is convenient.
- Wrap the ice in a piece of cloth and hold it on the affected skin area for a few seconds.
- Wait a few minutes and repeat the process.
2. LEMON
Another quick way to get rid of pimples is the use of lemon juice, which is rich in vitamin C. Lemon juice helps pimples dry up faster. Be sure to use fresh lemon juice and not bottled juice, which has preservatives. There are a couple of ways to apply this remedy.
- Dip a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and apply it to the pimples before going to bed.
- You can also mix one tablespoon of lemon juice with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and put it on the pimples overnight. In the morning, wash the skin well with lukewarm water. However, this particular remedy is not suitable for those with sensitive skin.
3. TOOTHPASTE
The toothpaste that you use every morning to clean your teeth also can be used to treat pimples quickly. It is most effective when used following the ice remedy. You must use white toothpaste; avoid using gel toothpaste.
- Apply some white toothpaste over the affected skin area before going to bed.
- In the morning, wash your face with water and you will see a significant improvement in the swelling.
- If you wish, you can repeat the process in the daytime also. Just make sure the toothpaste remains on the pimples for at least half an hour.
4. STEAMING
Steaming is wonderful for your skin at any time, but particularly when you have pimples. The steam will open your pores and allow your skin to breathe. This helps get rid of oils, dirt and bacteria trapped in the pores that can cause infection or inflammation.
- Fill a large container with hot water and allow the steam to come in contact with your face for a few minutes.
- Rinse your face with lukewarm water and, after drying, apply an oil-free moisturizer.

BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY
JOHN 1: 12: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on his name:"
HOW TO MAKE NIGERIAN EGG STEW
Egg stew is often mistaken for Tomato Omelette. Both are not quite the same. Yes, they are both prepared with the same ingredients, just not in the same quantities. While Tomato Omelette consists mainly of eggs, Egg Stew has more of tomatoes. Also, Egg stew is not "set" like Tomato Omellete.
HOW TO MAKE NIGERIAN EGG STEW.
Egg Stew is very easy to prepare and it spices up some Nigerian staple foods.
INGREDIENTS
2 Eggs
4 medium plum tomatoes (Tomato Jos)
1 medium onion
Salt & Dry Pepper (to taste)
1 stock cube
2 cooking spoons of vegetable oil
Before you Cook the Egg Stew
Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and cut into big slices.
Also cut the onion into big slices.
Beat the two eggs, add a pinch of salt and set aside.
Cooking the Nigerian Egg Stew
Heat the vegetable oil in a pot, when hot, lower the heat to medium.
Add the onions and stir for about 2 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, stir for a bit and cover the pot. This is so that the tomatoes and onions do not dry up too quickly. Stir from time to time though.
After about 5 minutes, add the ground pepper, salt and seasoning.
Keep stirring till the tomato is completely soft and separated from the oil.
Slowing pour the egg in a circular motion. Do NOT stir. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low to allow the egg to "cake". You want the egg to form lumps in the stew rather than look mushy.
Egg stew is the best thing that ever happened to Boiled Yam and Boiled Potatoes. You can also serve it with White Rice, Fried Yam, Fried Plantain or Potatoes. And it does many things to plain sliced bread.
We'll never part': Lamar Odom reveals his unsettling fixation with 'wife' Khloe Kardashian as he defends THAT 'ambush'
Lamar Odom still thinks of Khloe Kardashian as his wife and claims any man making a move on her is 'wasting his time.'
Despite their divorce being finalized last month, and Khloe already moving on with new boyfriend James Harden, the 35-year-old insists they are still married.
In a 'rambling' interview with InTouch Magazine, the former professional basketball player appears to admit cheating on the 31-year-old, but reveals he will 'never be completely happy' without the E! star.
He also denied ambushing her outside SoulCylce in Beverly Hills last week: differing sources claim Khloe screamed and fled when Lamar tried to grab her arm, while others say they had been driving around in her car together shortly beforehand.
We spoke [beforehand],' Lamar told InTouch. 'A misunderstanding between me and my wife became public.
'I did not ambush Khloe. I am not a threat to her,' he said.
'It's hurtful. That woman is my wife. Without the ring on my finger.
The former Los Angeles Laker said if he doesn't get back together with her, he will 'never be completely happy.'

Cops Who Tortured 20-Year-Old To Death Granted Bail In Ondo State
The police corporal who tortured Mohammed Oluwatobi Badmus, the 20-year-old young son of a popular hotelier, to death has been arraigned at a Magistrate Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The police corporal who tortured Mohammed Oluwatobi Badmus, the 20-year-old young son of a popular hotelier, to death has been arraigned at a Magistrate Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
30-year-old Corporal Adesola Awodeyi was arraigned alongside two of his accomplices, Adedeji Adekunle, 32, and Adepetu Olamilekan, 27, before Chief Magistrate Charity Adeyanju.
At a court session on Monday, the three killers were arraigned and charged with an offence of “manslaughter,” as recommended by the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP). The three pleaded “not guilty” to the crime.
After having been kept in police detention for thirteen months prior to being arraigned, the three were granted bail at a sum of N500,000, with two sureties each in like sum.
The three killers were policemen attached to the “B Division” of the Ondo State Command of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).
They were in police detention for thirteen months prior to being arraigned.
The young Mr. Badmus died on July 21st, 2014, after the three cops tortured him at the police detention cell. He was rushed to a private hospital, where he finally gave up the ghost.
A smartphone said to be the property of Bisi Adedugbagbe of the Celestial Church of God, Ife-Oluwa Parish in Akure, was at the center of the issue.
Mr. Adedugbagbe had reported the phone stolen to his police friend, Corporal Awodeyi of the B Division police station, who arrested Mr. Badmus for the theft.
Mr. Badmus’s father, Raheem Afolayan Badmus, owner of the popular Ages Hotel in Akure, believes that the law enforcement agents tortured his son, a graduate student of Idris Premier College at Ilesha Garage Akure, by giving him a large dose of a chemical substance to inhale until he died.
Following the case, an autopsy was conducted to determine the real cause of Oluwatobi’s death but surprisingly two different reports emerged.
The police had consulted a pathologist for the autopsy, stating that the death of the deceased was natural, but the family rejected the report and solicited another autopsy, which stated that the young Mr. Badmus had not died of natural causes.
The remains of the 20 year-old youngster were kept at the morgue of Ondo State’s general hospital for over a year after the case had been begun, but the court finally ordered the remains be released to the family for burial.
Magistrate Charity Adeyanju adjourned the case until September 30th, 2015.
Why Buhari fired AMCON MD, Mustafa Chike-Obi
The removal of the Managing Director of the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON), Mustafa Chike-Obi, by President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday was prompted by alleged cumulative offences committed by the former MD and his team, administration insiders and former members of the company’s board have told PREMIUM TIMES.
“The president has been inundated by complaints about the politicisation of AMCON by its leadership and the lack of transparency in the disposition of assets,” a presidency source said.
“The President had to act to halt the drift in the organisation, and restore efficiency and independence to its operations.”
This newspaper also learnt that the Ahmed Joda-led Transition Committee reported to the President that it observed lack of transparency and competitiveness in the way the company disposed of assets.
“The establishment of AMCON has been a central part of the reform agenda,” the committee said in its report. “Critical attention should be taken to ensure efficiency in its mandate.”
It then identified “lack of transparency in disposition of assets” as the key challenge facing the company, and recommended that Mr. Buhari take measures to ensure divesture of AMCON’s assets are “carried out in a transparent and competitive manner”.
AMCON was set up in 2010 following former CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido’s banking sector intervention, with the objectives of buying up Non Performing Loans (NPL) from the banks, re-capitalising them, and finding buyers to run them in a transparent manner.
Being the largest financial institution in the country today, with assets valued at about N5 trillion, insiders say AMCON was almost unilaterally run by Mr. Chike-Obi, who was said to consistently took orders only from former President Goodluck Jonathan, while he was in office, routinely bypassing the company’s board as well as key regulators such as the CBN which has a 50 per cent stake in the business.
The former AMCON boss’ running battle with the CBN and Ministry of Finance, the two joint owners of the company, repeatedly triggered friction among officials and occasionally grounded the company’s operations, insiders say.
Mr. Chike-Obi’s traducers also accused him of being engaged in non-transparent and non-competitive sale of assets of some troubled companies, a charge he repeatedly denied but which his critics repeatedly tabled before the President.
In June, a lawyer, Ajibola Aribisala (SAN), raised alarm that AMCON deliberately sold Delta Steel Company at N28billion as against the N33billion offered by a Chinese company, China Polaris Technologies Company Ltd, despite the latter’s offer to pay immediately.
While urging President Muhammadu Buhari to cancel the deal, the lawyer said there was fraud in the deal as the company that purportedly won the bid, Premium Steel & Mines Ltd, was only incorporated when the bidding was already in full progress on December 14, 2014.
Mr. Chike-Obi, PREMIUM TIMES learnt, was also accused of shady financial deals with debtors, politicisation of decisions, flagrant disregard of the principles of corporate governance, contempt of the directives of the regulatory authorities, among others.
“The former MD’s involvement in financial scandals, flagrant abuse of power, disregard of the management board decisions are some of the reasons Mr. President sacked him,” said a source familiar with the president’s decision and the operations of the company.
“Whenever CBN or Ministry of Finance drew his attention to any misdemeanour, his excuse was that he was not an ordinary MD of a bank, and so could not be under the supervisory power of the CBN,” the source, who requested not to be named, said.
Another source, a former board member, said Mr. Chike-Obi always had the ears of ex-President Jonathan, and that he was in the habit of disregarding the directives of the Ministry of Finance and the CBN, citing “presidential directive” or “order from above”.
“There were several shouting matches between him and board membe
38-year-old woman marries Jesus Christ with hundreds in attendance
The marriage of an Indian woman, Jessica Haye, 38, to Jesus Christ, the son of God in the town of Fort Wayne, United States of America on Saturday attracted people in their hundreds.
The 38-year-old Haye became a consecrated virgin after the ceremony.
Consecrated virgins are similar to nuns but do not live in convents and are not saddled with any responsibility by the Catholic Church.
Hayes who is a theology teacher at Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, said she opted to become a consecrated virgin after praying for years and doing some soul-searching.
The 38-year-old stressed that she will continue her normal life at home, though she will not be able to marry or have sex for the rest of her life.
“My students asked if they should call me Mrs. Hayes when I come back to school next week, and no, I’m still Ms. But I am married to Jesus.”
“As a consecrated virgin, Hayes may not have ‘knowing and deliberately’ engaged in sexual relations in the past.
“I think that in some sense, we’re all called to be married. It’s just a matter of discerning how. So, my marriage is to Christ and someone else’s marriage is to their spouse,” she said.
The matrimony which was conducted by Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception said, ‘It seems most appropriate that Jessica gives herself totally to Jesus, is consecrated to a life of virginity.’
While reacting to the large number of people who turned out for the event despite been a stranger, Haye said they turned up because they were ‘interested’ and she was pleased with the turnout.
“Now that I’ve made a public commitment, that’s really an encouragement to me to live up to that because people know that this is who I am and my life needs to be lived in conformity with that,’ she explained.
“So, it’s one more step in that direction that others expect this way of life from me and I need to live consistently in my words and actions that love for Jesus.
“I’m so happy to have had so many witnesses at the wedding because there may be others that the Lord is calling in this way that have now heard of this life and can consider it in their prayer.’
The 38-year-old Hayes is the first woman to become a consecrated virgin in the Fort Wayne-South Bend Catholic Diocese in the last 25 years

Lt. Nelson Mandela's grandson arrested for rape
24-year-old grandson of Winnie and Nelson Mandela, former South African President, has appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court over an alleged rape of a 15-year- old girl at a popular restaurant in Greenside, South Africa.
The accused was arrested on Friday, 14th August and can’t be named for legal reasons, until he pleads guilty to the allegation leveled against him.
Reports, according to the girl’s family spokesperson who confirmed the incident, say the victim went to use the rest room in a restaurant and the boy grabbed and raped her inside one of the toilets.
“Just because they have a famous surname, they think they can get away with crime. Children can’t just be raped and then everything is alright. The girl is young and doesn’t even drink,” the spokesperson added.
The victim’s spokesperson went further to say the boy’s grandmother’s bodyguard intimidated the father of the rape victim when he initially tried to file a criminal charge against him.
“Instead, the bodyguard went to the family pretending to be a cop. The father was told there was no need to arrest the suspect but when the father asked to see his badge, he didn’t have one. It turned out he had been sent by Winnie.
“Meanwhile, Winnie Mandela promised to hand him over to the police.
“She also said she will call a press conference. None of the promises has been so far kept,” the spokesperson noted.
Gauteng Police Spokesman, Brigadier Mashadi Selepe, said they were investigating the case .
