Chris Brown Would Have An ‘Epic Meltdown’ If He Loses Royalty In Custody Hearing

Chris Brown has been in and out of courthouses, but that doesn’t make this specific trip any easier. As the singer gets ready to fight for joint custody over Royalty, an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Chris isn’t prepared for the possibility of losing his daughter.
Not being able to see Royalty, 1, at all is such a scary thought for Chris Brown, 25. The singer is set to show up in court today for a hearing regarding joint custody of his daughter.

Chris is preparing himself for an intense custody battle over Royalty with Nia Guzman, 32. “Chris hates being in court. He’s had bad luck in front of judges his entire life. He’s nervous over the thought of him losing Royalty in this paternity hearing,”Not being able to see her would rip his heart out. That would make him have an epic meltdown. He’d spiral out of control instantly.”

The 25-year-old singer has been in his fair amount of court cases, but this hearing will be different than the others. “He’s not fighting for his freedom, he’s fighting to be a father! He’s fighting for Royalty. This is and will be the most important fight of his life,” the insider continued. “He’s proud of Royalty and holds her in the highest regard, even more than his career. That baby is his world and he’s determined not to let her selfish and vindictive mother prevent him from being in her life.”

The clerk for the Judge presiding over the case told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Chris and Nia aren’t required to attend the hearing. However, that won’t stop Nia from showing up! “She will be present in court,” Nia’s attorney, Carl Anthony Moore exclusively told us. “With Royalty. And, if Chris Brown’s in Texas, we sure hope he shows up.” Carl continued to tell us that Nia is feeling good about the hearing and is hoping the issues will be completely resolved today.
